Yves Saint Laurent gets news CEO
PARIS—French luxury company Kering appointed a longtime fashion executive, Francesca Bellettini, as chief executive of its Yves Saint Laurent brand, and gave additional duties to the label's creative director, Hedi Slimane.
Ms. Bellettini, an executive director at Bottega Veneta, will succeed Paul Deneve, who is leaving to join Apple Inc. after just two years at the fashion label. Apple said Mr. Deneve would be joining the company as a vice president of "special projects," reporting directly to Tim Cook, chief executive.
Kering had said Mr. Deneve was leaving YSL to "take up a new career opportunity in the high-tech industry."
