Starbucks welcomes Deverl Maserang as EVP, Global Supply Chain
Starbucks Coffee Company has appointed Deverl Maserang as executive vice president leading the company’s Global Supply Chain Organization. In this role, he is accountable for end-to-end supply chain operations globally spanning manufacturing, engineering, procurement, distribution, planning, transportation, inventory management and worldwide sourcing.
Maserang joined Starbucks from Chiquita Brands International, bringing more than two decades of leadership in global supply chain operations. In his role leading the Global Value Chain for Chiquita and Fresh Express, he was responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain function of approximately 20,000 employees. Prior to that, he held a variety of supply chain roles at Pepsi Bottling Group, United Parcel Service, along with leading various startups in the areas of industrial engineering, operations and supply chain management.
Maserang reports to Troy Alstead, Starbucks chief financial officer and chief administrative officer, and is a part of the company’s Senior Leadership Team. His Starbucks journey began June 3.
