Director M. Anthony Burns steps down from Pfizer
Pfizer Inc. announced that M. Anthony Burns retired from the board.
Mr. Burns served as Chairman Emeritus since 2002, Chairman of the Board from 1985 to 2002, and Chief Executive Officer from 1983 to 2000. He was President from 1979 to 1999 of Ryder System, Inc., a provider of transportation and logistics services.
Mr. Burns is Director of Huntsman Corporation and J.C. Penney Company, Stanley Black & Decker and The Black & Decker Corporation. He is Life Trustee of the University of Miami and Pfizer Director since 1988. He served as Member of Pfizer Audit Committee and Corporate Governance Committee.
