Position Summary

The VP National Accounts generates market growth through achieving new contractual sales agreements with prospects and existing clients within an assigned sales territory.

Title:               Vice President National Accounts

Reports to:     VP Business Development

Location:        Field Based or Charlotte, North Carolina                         

Duties and Responsibilities

·         Delivers targeted sales results.

·         Researches and analyzes the sales territory to determine market potential.

·         Effectively and systematically canvasses the market for prospective clients.

·         Develops, maintains and uses prospect tracking systems to maintain contact with those identified as prospects.

·         Develops and maintains an information file on all prospects.

·         Contacts prospective clients by telephone, e-mail, in writing or face-to-face meetings in order to create opportunities to sell our services.

·         Conducts meetings with prospects to promote company and services.

·         Inspects facilities of prospective clients for the purpose of performing needs analyses.

·         Designs and prices service programs effectively and in a manner consistent with company standards.

·         Generates proposals for service contracts, jobs, consulting, and software sales at a consistent level necessary to achieve sales targets.

·         Generates contract, job, consulting and software sales consistently at the sales target levels.

·         Acts as a liaison between operations and new clients to ensure service is delivered as sold.

 

Experience/Education

·         Must have at least five year of outside sales experience in relevant National Accounts base.

·         Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
